Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Bacon

It's a party in a pan! With bacon and other tasty ingredients, this recipe will make a brussels sprout fan out of anyone! So come join the party!

Step 1 - Gather Ingredients

1 1/2 - 2 pounds of brussels sprouts
3-4 slices of bacon, sliced
2-3 tablespoons of melted butter or olive oil
Kosher salt
Pepper
Optional - aged balsamic vinegar

Step 2 - Prep the Sprouts

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Peel old outer leaves and trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts (save the leaves in a container in the fridge to make chips). Cut the sprouts in half (long ways).

Place the sprouts in a bowl and toss with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper (just a dash of each). Line a pan with foil. Place the sprouts on pan in a single layer.

Step 3 - Add Bacon! Bake

Place diced bacon all over the sprouts. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping them every 10 minutes.

Step 4 - Final

Check for seasoning and drizzle aged balsamic vinegar over the finished sprouts, if desired. Enjoy!
