Mini Football Treats

Great for little hands to make, everyone from the armchair quarterback to those with just a passing interest for the game will enjoy being on the receiving end of these fun treats!

Step 1 - Gather Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows
  OR 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  OR 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme
1/2 cup peanut butter
6 cups Kellogg's® Cocoa Krispies Cereal
Canned frosting or decorating gel

Step 2 - Melt and Mix

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted (for best results, use fresh marshmallows). Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Add peanut butter, stirring until melted. Microwave cooking times may vary

Step 3 - Add Rice Krispies

Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

Step 4 - Shape and Decorate

Cool slightly. Using buttered hands shape mixture into sixteen 3-inch footballs. Decorate with frosting. Best if served the same day.
Store no more than two days at room temperature in airtight container.
