2 (15 oz) cans black-eyed peas, drained
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 clove garlic
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
Pepper and hot sauce to taste
Step 2 - Mix it Up
Place toothpick in garlic clove. Mix peas, onion, green pepper and garlic. Dissolve sugar, vinegar and salt over low heat. Mix all ingredients, adding desired black pepper and hot sauce.
Step 3 - Refrigerate
Refrigerate 12 hours. Remove garlic clove. Serve with corn chips.
